  • The Senior Lean Six Sigma Project Lead will report into the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer.
  • This role is home-based with occational travel to various location within the UK when required. 
  • Ideally the candidate would be able to start May 2022

Job Purpose

  • Lead the delivery of business improvement projects (including capital projects) to enable improvements in customer and business value.
  • Provide training, mentoring and guidance to others in the business in the use of Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Challenge existing processes in all aspects of the North business, including how the business currently utilises ERP and Autotask systems
  • Seek opportunities to introduce/leverage automation where possible

 

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Improve key processes across the business including all aspects of lead to cash and interoperability of the two core systems (ERP – SAP Business ByDesign and Autotask)
  2. Lead the definition and delivery of large business improvement projects through the application of Lean Six Sigma and project management tools.
  3. Assist with the definition of potential projects to support the future growth of the North business by identifying, quantifying and comparing potential projects, and playing an active role in the prioritisation process.
  4. Actively identify potential risks & issues relating to the delivery of projects and manage a resolution process in a timely manner, only escalating major issues.
  5. Work with business functions to develop and implement data gathering techniques to identify and rank opportunities for continuous improvement.
  6. Deliver training and provide mentoring support in Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Root Cause Analysis, 5S, Kaizen and workshop facilitation techniques, while being an exemplar of all of these skills among others.

 

Special Features

  • Track record of delivering business improvement projects at Black Belt Level.
  • Experience of working with and influencing stakeholders at a senior manager level.
  • Possesses a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to lead a cross functional team (operations and Finance)
  • Experience of delivering process change within ICT organisations desirable
