Responsibilities

Following a recent refresh and reframing of our brand vision and a strategic move to concentrate on four core sectors, we have two new openings for experienced marketing professionals to join our team to support the development and execution of sector marketing plans.

 

These dynamic roles require flexible, highly organised and driven individuals with a talent for delivering creative and impactful value-driven sectors-specific marketing and highly successful proposition narratives that effectively communicate our unique value to our target audiences.

 

The successful individuals will be required to understand and work across sectors and sub-sectors and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

 

Responsibilities
• Develop the marketing plan and execute sector-based marketing campaigns, demand and lead generation activity, events (physical & virtual), and public relations.
• Identify market opportunities and create targeted campaigns to drive revenue in partnership with the Sector Sales teams
• Ownership for achieving sector marketing KPIs and delivering measurable results.
• Work with key stakeholders to gather and synthesise insights that effectively position North’s propositions and products to our target markets. Foster a deep understanding of our target audiences and their unique challenges & opportunities.
• Craft compelling, value-driven messaging applying through a strong customer lens.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor movement, sector developments, trends & innovations.
• Produce engaging collateral and content to support sales enablement, including sales packs, brochures, presentations, case studies, campaigns, digital content and more.
• Work with product teams to drive and shape valuable content, such as guides, whitepapers, and thought leadership to build awareness and position North as a trusted authority.
• Collaborate with our partner ecosystem to codevelop impactful campaigns and initiatives.
• Engage and brief internal teams to ensure successful participation in initiatives and campaigns.
• Undertake a diverse range of responsibilities, from hands-on tasks to actively contributing to developing and executing marketing plans.

Qualifications

For development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required.

 

• 5+ years of experience working in proposition development/marketing manager or a related role.
• Proven track record of creating compelling, value-based collateral & content.
• Experience working in an ICT or IT role is essential.
• Excellent writing skills with a talent for creating engaging narratives.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation.
• Experience in creating impactful multi-channel customer comms and campaigns.
• Exceptionally organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams & deadlines.
• Strong communicator with the ability to work with teams across all levels of the business.
• Experience working within Public Services and Enterprise would be advantageous.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
